Made up of associates who share similar ideas, backgrounds, ideals, gender, ethnicity, cultures or common interests, Associate Resource Groups are all about building small, connected communities within the workforce.
At TDS, these groups are organized and run independently by associates, based on topics that fit their interest. They are associate-led and associate-driven. While not formal, they are endorsed by a member of the executive leadership team who provides mentorship and guidance.
The ABLE ARG brings in speakers on health-related topics such as: understanding diabetes, heart disease prevention tips, how to take care of yourself and those you love who have mental health challenges, and how to improve your sleep habits. The group has also coordinated grocery store tours with a registered dietitian, raised awareness of autism and diabetes with associate spotlights, and promoted hands-on CPR training with the American Heart Association.
