Made up of employees who share similar ideas, backgrounds, ideals, gender, ethnicity, cultures or common interests, Employee Resource Groups are all about building small, connected communities within the workforce.
At TDS, these groups are organized and run independently by employees, based on topics that fit their interest. They are employee-led and employee-driven. While not formal, they are endorsed by a member of the executive leadership team who provides mentorship and guidance.
Currently, TDS has eight established Employee Resource Groups, with plans to add many more in the coming months. At TDS, ERGs are one way to "Plant the Seeds of Inclusion."

Patriot Employee Resource Group
Comprised of current and prior military service members, non-service members, and first responders

Intern Employee Resource Group
The purpose of the Intern ERG is to support a diverse and inclusive community of interns by providing resources for development, opportunities.

ABLE Employee Resource Group
The ABLE ERG’s goal is to provide opportunities for all employees who are impacted by disabilities and to come together to Achieve a Better Life/Work Environment.

Women in Technology Employee Resource Group
The mission of the TDS Women in Tech (WIT) ERG is to recruit, retain, and develop women in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. Through development opportunities, outreach and internal support WIT seeks to attract and retain top talent in the TDS tech community.

2BU Employee Resource Group
The 2BU employee resource group exists to foster a sense of community within and outside of TDS by valuing differences, providing an inclusive and safe environment, and helping LGBTQ+ employees succeed.

Green Employee Resource Group
This employee resource group is dedicated to encouraging environmentally responsible behavior at work and at home. By taking grassroots action, everyone can contribute to global change.

Heritage Employee Resource Group
The Our Heritage Employee Resource Group (ERG) promotes cultural competency by engaging multi-cultural employees and advocating on behalf of them, their families, and communities.

Emerging Professionals Employee Resource Group
The Emerging Professionals Employee Resource Group (“EP ERG”) is designed to engage, connect and develop TDS employees who are new to the company and telecommunications industry.
