To configure Mac Mail (Thunderbird) to work with TDS Mail, follow these directions:
- Open Thunderbird.
- Click the more menu button.
- Hover over Option.
- Click on Account Settings.
- Click on Server Settings under the TDS mail account on the left handed menu
- Update the following information:
-Server Name: mail.tds.net
-If Server Type is "POP Mail Server": Port: 995
-If Server Type is "IMAP Mail Server": Port: 993 - Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP) on the left handed menu.
- Select mail.tds.net in the upper menu.
- Click on Edit...
- Update the following information:
-Server Name: mail.tds.net
-Port: 587
-Connection Security: STARTTLS (if an older version of Thunderbird, select "TLS") - Click OK.
