What's Changing
TDS is discontinuing its email service provided to subscribers effective October 31, 2026. After this date, TDS will no longer provide or support TDS email accounts.
TDS has arranged for Open-Xchange, Inc. (“Everymail”), a cloud-based email service provider, to offer continued email services so that you can maintain your email service without interruption.
How to Keep Your Email
To keep your current TDS provided email address regardless of domain, you must subscribe to Everymail by August 31, 2026.
When you subscribe:
- Your TDS provided email address regardless of domain will remain the same
- You will receive a free trial through September 2026.
- Billing will begin on October 1, 2026 based on your selected plan. You will not be charged immediately.
- You can choose from two plans:
- $3.00/month
- $30 per year (Enjoy savings equal to 2 months of service versus monthly pricing)

After You Subscribe:
- TDS will transfer the contents of your email account together with any personal data related to your account, including personal data contained in your emails, to EveryMail.
- You will sign in at a new URL. Upon first login, you will be prompted to set a new password.
- You will be able to manage billing and account information through EveryMail.
If You Do Not Subscribe
If you do not wish to have your personal data transferred to Everymail, no further action is required.
However, if you do not register for an account before August 31, 2026:.
- You will no longer be able to send, receive or access emails.
- Your TDS-provided email account, and the account and its contents will be deleted.
TDS will not be liable for our deletion of or your inability to access or use your email account, or for any information stored in it, after October 31, 2026.

After the transfer, your use of EveryMail’s service and their processing of your personal information will be governed by EveryMail’s terms of service and privacy policy. By subscribing, you consent to this transfer. After October 31, 2026, TDS will only retain data as required by law or maintained on archival systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TDS is not responsible or liable for Everymail’s services, products, data collection practices, or compliance with applicable laws, or any of its actions or omissions. Your relationship with Everymail is solely between you and EveryMail. Questions or support needs should be directed to EveryMail.

Do I have to do anything to keep my TDS provided email address regardless of domain?
Yes. To keep your current email address, you must subscribe to EveryMail before August 31, 2026.
What happens if I don’t subscribe?
If you do not register before August 31, 2026, you will no longer be able to send, receive, or access emails, and your email account and its contents will be deleted.
Will my email address change?
No. If you subscribe with EveryMail, your email address will remain the same.
Will my email and contacts transfer?
Yes. TDS will transfer the contents of your email account together with any personal data related to your account, including personal data contained in your emails, to EveryMail.
Do I have to agree to the data transfer?
Yes. By subscribing to EveryMail, you consent to the transfer of your email content and related personal data.
When will I be charged?
You will not be charged immediately. You will receive a free trial through September 30, 2026, and billing will begin on October based on your selected plan.
Will there be downtime during the transition?
No. Your mailbox will transition to EveryMail with no downtime.
Will my login change?
Yes. You will sign in at a new URL and will be prompted to set a new password when logging in for the first time.
Who do I contact for support after I switch?
After your account is transitioned, any support needs should be directed to EveryMail.
Is TDS still responsible for my email after I switch?
No. TDS is not responsible for EveryMail services, products or data practices after the transition. After October 31, 2026, TDS will only retain data as required by law or maintained on archival systems, and we will maintain such information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
I use my TDS provided email address regardless of domain as a login for TDS My Account. Will that still work?
Yes. You can continue to use your TDS-provided email address as a login username only. You can change your TDS My Account login.
Please confirm that the recovery contact information is updated with a personal email (that is not your TDS-provided email). See here for information on how to update your recovery contact information.
