What's Changing

TDS is discontinuing its email service provided to subscribers effective October 31, 2026. After this date, TDS will no longer provide or support TDS email accounts.

TDS has arranged for Everymail powered by Open-Xchange, a cloud-based email service provider, to offer continued email services so that you can maintain your email service without interruption.

How to Keep Your Email

To keep your current TDS provided email address regardless of domain, you must subscribe to Everymail by September 30, 2026. You will receive additional email notifications from TDS when Everymail enrollment becomes available, and sign-up links will also be posted on this page. Please follow the provided links and complete the enrollment steps on Everymail’s website once they are available.

When you subscribe:

  • Your TDS provided email address regardless of domain will remain the same
  • You will receive a free trial through October 2026.
  • Billing will begin on November 1, 2026 based on your selected plan. You will not be charged immediately.
    • You can choose from two plans:
      • $3.00/month
      • $30 per year (Enjoy savings equal to 2 months of service versus monthly pricing)

After You Subscribe:

Your email will be transitioned to Everymail in early October with no downtime. TDS will transfer the contents of your email account, together with any personal data related to your account (including any personal data in your emails) to Everymail and by subscribing to Everymail you consent to such transfer. After the transfer, your use of Everymail’s email service and their processing of your personal information will be governed by Everymail’s terms of service and privacy policy.

After your mailbox has been transferred, you will sign in to your mailbox at a new URL: https://tds.everymail.com. To manage your billing and recovery information for your Everymail account, you will sign in at My Account.

You will continue to use the same email address. You will be prompted to set a new password shortly after transitioning to Everymail.

You will receive a free trial through October 30, 2026. Billing will begin in November 1, 2026, based on your selected plan.

If You Do Not Subscribe

If you do not wish to have your personal data transferred to Everymail, no further action is required.

However, if you do not register for an account before September 30, 2026:

  • You will no longer be able to send, receive or access emails after October 31, 2026.
  • Your TDS-provided email account, and the account and its contents will be deleted after October 31, 2026.

TDS will not be liable for our deletion of or your inability to access or use your email account, or for any information stored in it, after October 31, 2026.

After the transfer, your use of Everymail’s service and their processing of your personal information will be governed by Everymail’s terms of service and privacy policy. By subscribing, you consent to this transfer.  After October 31, 2026, TDS will only retain data as required by law or maintained on archival systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TDS is not responsible  or liable for Everymail’s services, products, data collection practices, or compliance with applicable laws, or any of its actions or omissions. Your relationship with Everymail is solely between you and Everymail. Questions or support needs should be directed to Everymail.

Frequently Asked Questions

Subscribing is quick and easy. Visit the Subscription Login Link. Sign in using your TDS email address and password. Once you're logged in, you'll be taken to the Subscription Home Page, where you can review important information about the transition and available subscription options.

Next, choose the plan that works best for you—either a Monthly or Yearly subscription. You'll then confirm the mailbox you'd like to subscribe to and enter your billing and payment information. Once your payment is submitted, your subscription will be activated and associated with the selected mailbox.

After entering your payment information and accepting the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, select Subscribe Now to complete your subscription. You'll immediately see a confirmation message on-screen, and a welcome email from Everymail will be sent to your inbox. The email will confirm your subscription and provide additional information about your service.

If you have questions about the transition or need help with the subscription process, support is available. You can schedule a one-on-one session with an Everymail Help Desk agent, who can walk you through the transition, answer your questions, and assist with subscribing.

Yes. To keep your current email address, you must subscribe to Everymail before September 30, 2026.

If you do not register before September 30, 2026, you will no longer be able to send, receive, or access emails, and your email account and its contents will be deleted.

No. If you subscribe with Everymail, your email address will remain the same.

Yes. TDS will transfer the contents of your email account together with any personal data related to your account, including personal data contained in your emails, to Everymail.
