TDS launches new Internet Security product in cable markets

TDS® has launched TDS Internet Security, a new security product that will keep customer’s internet and online devices safe.

With TDS Internet Security, customers will be able to easily distribute and manage TDS Internet Security licenses from their My Account portal.  In addition, TDS Internet Security helps to guard computers, mobile phones, and tablets from:

·         Malware and ransomware

·         Viruses, worms, and trojans

·         Spyware, adware

·         Spam and junk mail

TDS Internet Security will also help our TDS cable customers to:

·         Block malicious sites

·         Manage device security remotely

·         Safeguard online financial transactions

Furthermore, TDS Internet Security provides a number of parental control features plus content filtering that blocks web content including everything from adult content to violent websites. Parents can also limit and set specific times when mobile devices can’t be used.

“We know that choosing security software can be overwhelming, but TDS Internet Security is powered by F-Secure, an award-winning detection and cyber-security provider,” said Julie Maiers, vice president of Marketing & Product Development.

“Every year, hackers and their methods only become more sophisticated, so even if you have last year’s security solution, it will likely not cover the newest threats,” said Maiers. “Remember, you should never surf the internet without some kind of protection.”

Internet Security is available for residential and business high-speed Internet customers. TDS is offering a 30-Day Free Trial of Internet Security.* To order TDS Internet Security, call 1-855-771-3961 or order online at https://shop.hellotds.com/internet/internet-security.html
