TDS TV® celebrates one-year and surprises 1,000th customer

One year ago, La Vergne residents found out they had a new choice for television services—TDS TV from TDS Telecommunications Corp. (TDS®).

“Yesterday, we surprised our one-thousandth customer with a gift basket,” says Tony Bugher, market manager for TDS. “She was expecting our technicians to come and connect her home to TDS TV, but she wasn’t expecting a basketful of goodies or to be named the 1000th customer. It was fun to see the surprise and excitement on her face.”

La Vergne’s TDS TV customer number 1,000 resides on the city’s southeast-side. She received a gift basket with popcorn and other treats to enjoy while watching her favorite programs via TDS TV.
