Fiber cut impacting communications services in Estes Park, Colo.

TDS customers in Estes Park, Colorado are without broadband, phone and cable service at this time due to a fiber cut in Loveland that was caused by ice on the overhead lines. The power company is currently working to repair the cut. Due to the weather and the complex repair required, services may not be fully restored until early this evening.

This fiber cut is impacting communications services from all telecommunications providers serving Estes Park, including cell phone service.

Due to the fiber cut, TDS is unable to communicate with customers in Estes Park. That means, any customers expecting a TDS technician to arrive today should plan to hear from TDS about rescheduling their service call.

The fiber cut was reported just before 6 p.m. March 23, 2016.

Power outages impacting services in additional Colorado communities:

In addition to the fiber cut in Estes Park, commercial power outages are also impacting services for some TDS customers in other northern Colorado communities. As power is restored, TDS services will also return to normal.
