TDS TV® now offers BTN2Go, NFL Network Online and NFL RedZone Online for on-the-go viewing
TDS TV subscribers can access Big Ten Network live sports on-demand programming, along with NFL® Network and NFL® RedZone, anytime, anywhere.
BTN2Go—Big Ten Network’s mobile streaming channel—and NFL Network Online are now available on the TDS TV® Everywhere content platform. TDS TV customers now have access to Big Ten Network high-resolution content, plus NFL Network and NFL RedZone programming, anywhere, anytime, on a computer, tablet or smartphone.
“We are really excited to offer BTN2Go and NFL mobile viewing to our customers,” said Shane West, TDS vice president of Consumer Marketing and Product Development. “It’s a great addition to our growing on-demand offerings—customers don’t need to be sitting in their living rooms, nor do they need to miss games they really want to see. They can watch it all regardless of where they are.”
The new sports on-the-go networks are free to TDS TV customers who already have the networks as part of their channel package or RedZone season pass. Customers can access the programming on their computer by logging in to tds.net and clicking on the “TV & Movies” tab at the top of the page, or by downloading the BNT2Go or NFL Mobile apps through their device’s app center.
BTN2Go offers both live and archived content. Viewers can watch any of the hundreds of BTN televised games and events live while on the go. Last year, the Big Ten Network aired 47 football and 116 men’s basketball games. In addition, TDS TV customers also have access to:
• BTN’s video archive of past games and events;
• Studio shows, game highlights, Big Ten originals, and the Emmy-nominated series The Journey;
• BTN’s Field Pass/Court Pass, a live stream of the stadium/arena before game time; and
• Multiscreen view.
“The added mobile viewing features are really incredible,” said Shane West. “They add a whole new element to the fan experience and make TDS TV an even better value.”
The NFL Network hosts 13 primetime games each season and offers extensive coverage of major NFL events, such as the NFL Draft and Super Bowl. NFL Network on-demand features more than 2,000 hours of original programming each year. This includes shows such as the Emmy-winning series America’s Game.
NFL RedZone, produced by NFL Network, offers a solution for fans who want to watch virtually every NFL game on Sunday afternoons. The network quickly switches from game to game, at opportune moments, offering fans the most exciting and crucial portions of each game and a chance to see every important play.
The Big Ten football and NFL seasons kick off on August 28 and September 4 respectively. For more information about these sports channels and TDS TV Everywhere content, call 866-44-TDSTV or visit tdstv.com.
