TDS donates $500 to Children’s Justice Center in St. George, Utah

Today, everyone is online more than ever, and with more use, comes more risks especially with our children. To help parents monitor their children’s online activity, TDS has donated $500 to the Washington County Children’s Justice Center to augment their efforts on internet safety.

As part of National Child Abuse Awareness Month, WCCJC has partnered with the St. George Children’s Museum and on April 24, WCCJC will distribute internet safety coloring books and TDS draw string backpacks at the St. George Children's Museum, 86 South Main St. St. George. The goal is to raise $5,000 for this effort and TDS is challenging local business to match its donation.

“During National Child Abuse Prevention Month, we are so grateful for partners like TDS and the Children’s Museum who help us reach out to families,” said Kristy Pike, director of WCCJC. “Child abuse and neglect exist in every community, including ours. Ensuring that children grow up in a safe, nurturing environment will take the combined efforts of all of us.”
