TDS taking preorders for fiber services in Montana

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is now taking pre-orders in all the areas where it is constructing a TDS Fiber network, which includes Billings, Butte, Great Falls, Helena, Helena Valley, and Missoula. Residents can go to TDSFiber.com to sign up and click on the “Register for Fiber” button. Under “Check Service Launch Date,” customers can also check when services are estimated to be available at their address.

Earlier this year, TDS, operating as TDS Metrocom LLC, started construction of its high-speed, fiber network in Helena, Helena Valley, Butte, Missoula, and Great Falls. The first customers are expected to be connected to the network in the next several months. This summer, TDS celebrated the 1,000th customer installation in Billings.

TDS plans to offer up to 8 Gig internet speeds along with a sophisticated digital TDS television product (TDS TV®+) and a variety of phone options. TDS will ultimately provide services to residential and business addresses.

As network construction nears completion, residents will receive pre-launch mailers asking them to register, preorder services, and learn about special offers.

The upgraded network includes symmetrical speeds, matching download and upload speeds up to 8 Gig. Fast downloads are ideal for streaming videos, music, video chat, and gaming.
