TDS Telecom Names John Cryer Jr. Vice President of MDU Sales

Experienced telecommunications leader to drive national multi-dwelling unit strategy

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS Telecom), a wholly owned subsidiary of Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. (NYSE: TDS), has appointed John Cryer Jr. as Vice President of MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) Sales, effective immediately. In this role, Cryer will lead the company’s national MDU strategy, advancing revenue growth, expanding fiber reach, and increasing subscriber penetration.

His leadership will help us strengthen our ability to deliver value to property partners and residents.”

Cryer brings nearly 30 years of telecommunications experience with a proven ability to drive topline growth, scale operations, and lead complex, multi-channel sales organizations. Most recently, he served as Division Vice President of Business Development for Comcast’s Central Division, where he led network expansion and multi-family sales initiatives across a 15-state region.  Prior to that role, Cryer held various marketing and retail sales positions at several major telecommunications companies.

Cryer will oversee TDS Telecom’s national MDU sales organization, setting strategy and advancing sales operations while fostering a culture focused on performance, collaboration, and customer experience. His leadership will support TDS Telecom’s long-term fiber expansion goals while enhancing the customer experience within multi-dwelling unit communities.
