TDS opens the doors on a new retail location in Onalaska, Wisconsin
TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) celebrated the opening of its latest retail location today in Onalaska, Wisconsin. Designed as a space for residents to learn more about the company’s fiber products and services, it is located at 1220 Crossing Meadows Drive, Onalaska. Onalaska Area Business Association ambassadors were joined by TDS staff as well as Onalaska Mayor Kim Smith, City Council President and Alderperson Diane Wulf, and Alderperson Leanne Stokes to cut the ribbon on the new store.
“As the president of the Onalaska Area Business Association I’m truly excited to invite the community to visit our new store,” said TDS Associate Manager of Field Marketing Alex Wegner. “We welcome residents to come in, talk to someone face to face, and learn what makes TDS fiber services such a game changer.”
Madison-headquartered TDS is actively building an all-fiber network in Onalaska, as well as West Salem, Bangor, Rockland, and Tomah. The high-speed data infrastructure delivers up to 8 Gig internet speeds, plus TV and phone service to both residential and business customers. TDS connected the first customers to the high-speed infrastructure last year and access continues to grow as sections of the network are turned on.
Over fiber, TDS is offering TV, phone service, and symmetrical internet speeds of up to 8 Gig for residents and businesses—with up to 10 Gig available to business customers with a service level agreement. In addition to their standard range of internet options, TDS also offers a special low-cost offering for Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) participants. Called TDS Connect, the product includes up to 200Mbps/200Mbps speeds at a price fully covered by the monthly ACP benefit.
The store will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Outside of those hours, residents can visit TDSFiber.com to register for service and monitor the progress of the build.
