TDS named Best Internet Service Provider in Chippewa Valley, Wisconsin

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is pleased to announce it was named the inaugural winner of the Best Internet Service Provider award in the Best of Chippewa Valley contest.

Volume One, the media company who conducted the survey, created the new internet-focused category for this year's awards. Voted on by residents of Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and Altoona, the recognition reflects TDS’ super-fast fiber connections of up to 8 Gig.

“Thanks to everyone who voted for TDS and recognizes the value of TDS fiber and its high-speed connections,” said TDS Field Marketing Manager Marcus Stabe. “We’re thrilled by this outpouring of support and truly proud to be Chippewa Valley’s only fiber-to-the-home provider.”

The winners of Best of Chippewa Valley were revealed February 6 and will be celebrated at a TDS-sponsored gala on Saturday, February 8. The celebration is one of hundreds TDS has sponsored since it expanded to the area nearly three years ago.

“Since 2022, we’ve given approximately $150,000 in donations and sponsorships over and above our technology investment,” explained Stabe. “One of our core company beliefs is giving back and we love being part of this community.”
