TDS opens new warehouse in Missoula and donates $5,000 to Youth Homes

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) opened a new warehouse in Missoula on Thursday and was welcomed to the community by Governor Greg Gianforte and Missoula Mayor Jordan Hess.

The warehouse will soon be filled with the latest in technology that will bring state-of-the-art 8Gig internet, digital tv and phone services to residents and businesses in Missoula.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday when TDS also presented a $5,000 check to the leaders of Youth Homes in Missoula.

TDS will soon start construction on its fiber network in Missoula and will eventually connect more than 35,000 homes and businesses to some of the fastest internet speeds available.

“This morning TDS leaders met with city officials about our construction plans and now it’s time to celebrate the start of work on the TDS Fiber facility here. Soon, this warehouse will be filled with the latest in technology that will bring state-of-the-art internet, sophisticated, digital tv and phone services to residents in Missoula,” says TDS Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Drew Petersen. “We are here in Montana this week to introduce ourselves and become your new neighbor and investment partner.”

TDS Vice President of Marketing and Product Development Scott Schultz explained TDS will be providing symmetrical internet speeds up to 8Gig, TDS’ all-digital TV service, TDS TV®+, and a variety of phone options for residential and business customers. “All at pocketbook-friendly and competitive rates. TDS Fiber will be a game changer for Montana.”
