TDS kicks off fourth annual Week of Giving
TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is proud to announce the start of its fourth annual Week of Giving campaign. Starting today, Dec. 1, through Dec. 5, the company and its associates go above and beyond their normal philanthropic activities to give back across the TDS service footprint. The annual program highlights the power of collective action and generosity to make a difference.
“One of our core values as an organization is investing in our communities through volunteerism and other philanthropic activities,” said TDS Telecom Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Drew Petersen. “The Week of Giving is another way for all of us at TDS to live that value and focus our efforts to make a difference.”
Throughout the week, TDS associates are using their company-given paid volunteer time at non-profit organizations, and the company is donating more than $45,000 in monetary and in-kind donations in TDS communities.
A small sample of the activities include:
- Delivering treats to first responders in Central and Southern Wisconsin and Mooresville, North Carolina
- Matching Red Kettle donations to the Salvation Army in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Fox Cities, Wisconsin up to $4,000 across both communities
- Volunteering at the Herb Kohler and Natalie Black Community Café in Sheboygan, Wisconsin
