TDS Telecom joins with Mile of Music to match donations for storm victims

Company to match up to $10,000 in donations at this week's Mile of Music Festival.

APPLETON, Wisconsin – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is matching up to $10,000 in donations at this week’s Mile of Music Festival to support those impacted by severe storms and tornado in the Fox Valley. The match comes after Mile of Music committed to donate 5 percent of merchandise sales to the joint Tornado Recovery Effort fund through United Way Fox Cities, the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation.

“As a longtime telecommunications provider in the Fox Valley and a proud sponsor of Mile of Music, TDS is pleased to make this match and help support our community. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by this week’s storm, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to help the region get back on its feet,” said Dawn Nowakowski, TDS Telecom Regional Manager of Field Marketing.

Wisconsin-based TDS, which provides high-speed internet, TV, phone, and mobile services, has served the Fox Cities since 1998. Local crews continue working to restore customers without TDS service as power outages are resolved and areas are safe to access.

Mile of Music begins tonight, July 30, and continues through Aug. 2.
