TDS to bring high-speed internet network to Grand Chute

GRAND CHUTE, Wisconsin – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) continues to expand its high-speed network in the Fox Valley, with an all-fiber network in Grand Chute set to include lightning-fast speeds up to 8Gig, plus a sophisticated digital TV product and phone options.

“Fast, reliable internet connections are more important than ever. TDS’ investment will enhance the community’s infrastructure and better connect residents and businesses for years to come,” said Drew Petersen, TDS Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs. “The Fox Valley is a great place to live and do business, and we’re proud to continue our efforts to make the region even stronger.”

With speeds up to 8Gig, files of any size can be uploaded and downloaded nearly instantaneously, making the network well suited for commercial customers as well as households with large, shared internet needs.

Besides Grand Chute, TDS is building its network in several Fox Valley communities including Appleton, Fox Crossing, Kaukauna, Menasha, and Neenah. Work is completed in Combined Locks, Kimberly, and Little Chute.

As TDS expands its footprint into roughly 100 new communities in the country, any ongoing or planned expansion will be 8Gig capable. TDS also continues to explore opportunities to upgrade its technology in its previously launched communities.

TDS is a participant in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). Qualified ACP customers can receive symmetrical speeds up to 200Mbps at no cost with the company’s TDS Connect product.
