TDS delivers essential donations to support St. George fire victims
Community response provides household items, clothing, and food for displaced Bella Vista residents
ST. GEORGE, UTAH (June 26, 2026) — TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) has delivered a wide range of donated and lightly used items to support residents displaced by the recent fire at Bella Vista Apartments, following a community donation drive held earlier this month.
Donations collected at the TDS retail store included essential household items such as a microwave oven, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, cookware, kitchen towels, along with bath towels and other daily necessities. Community members and TDS associates in Southern Utah also contributed clothing, nonperishable food items, games, and travel essentials like coolers and suitcases to help impacted families begin rebuilding their daily routines.
Additional hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, cleaning supplies, and home décor were also donated, helping restore a sense of normalcy and comfort for those affected.
All donations were provided directly to Bella Vista Apartments property management for distribution to displaced residents in need.
“This effort shows the power of coming together in a time of crisis,” said Brenda Cody, senior manager of Field Marketing at TDS. “Thanks to the generosity of our associates and the local community, families impacted by the fire now have more access to essential items as they begin to move forward.”
TDS’ 100-plus associates across the southern Utah and Nevada region mobilized to help the effort, further strengthening the company’s commitment to supporting the communities it serves. The donation drive followed a fire at Bella Vista Apartments in early June that displaced multiple residents and prompted a large response from local emergency crews.
