TDS Telecom continues expanding its network in Sheboygan County

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) has launched its high-speed internet network in Kohler, continuing its expansion of fiber service in Sheboygan County.

Since starting construction last fall, service has been launched in all four Sheboygan County communities where TDS work is ongoing: Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, and Kohler. Crews will continue to connect customers neighborhood by neighborhood as work is completed.

About 25,000 homes and businesses in Sheboygan County are expected to eventually have access to TDS’ network, which features internet speeds up to 8 Gig as well as TV service and phone options.

“We’re excited to continue expanding service in our home state. Our fiber-optic network features fast, reliable connections and will help position Sheboygan County for more growth and development in the years to come,” said TDS Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Drew Petersen.

TDS is a participant in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). Qualified ACP customers can receive symmetrical speeds up to 200Mbps at no cost with the company’s TDS Connect product.

Madison-based TDS, operating as its subsidiary TDS Metrocom LLC, has fiber projects in development in virtually every corner of the state. For more information, including to register for service and sign up for updates, visit TDSFiber.com.
