TDS connects 500th customer in Nampa, Idaho

NAMPA, Idaho – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) has connected its 500th customer in Nampa as it continues making progress on its all-fiber internet network.

TDS made a special delivery of balloons and a gift basket to 500th customer Patrick Crummett. Since beginning construction at the end of 2021, crews have now laid more than 200 miles of fiber, providing access to internet speeds up to 8Gig as well as TV and phone service.

“We’re excited to continue expanding our network and connect customers to some of the fastest internet speeds in the world. We’re also proud to make a positive impact through a number of event sponsorships and donations to great community nonprofits. As construction continues, TDS looks forward to serving Nampa for many years to come,” said Pamela Hayn, associate manager of field marketing in Nampa.

When work is complete, the TDS network will provide access to ultra-fast fiber internet for about 50,000 homes and businesses in Nampa. With speeds of 8Gig, files of any size can be uploaded and downloaded, making it ideal for commercial customers as well as households with large, shared internet needs. Customers are able to connect as construction is completed in a neighborhood.

In addition to Nampa, construction continues in Meridian, Garden City, Boise, and Caldwell. Visit TDSFiber.com for information about service availability in your neighborhood.
