TDS golf outing raises $54,000 for charity

All proceeds generated at the event benefit the Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center.

In late July, $54,000 was raised for the Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center at the TDS Open Charity Golf Event, hosted by TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®). At the event, 133 TDS employees, company vendors, and partners competed in a 34-team, four person scramble tournament at University Ridge Golf Course.

While the TDS open has been an employee favorite for over 30 years, it transitioned to a charity fundraising event in 2010. Throughout the past nine years, the event has been a model example of the company’s long-held commitment to the community, raising nearly $350,000 for various charities in the Madison area.

Whether it’s hands-on volunteering in the community or financial support, TDS takes great pride in giving back.
