TDS Donates Caring Bears to Mooresville Police Department
Mooresville, North Carolina – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) donated caring bears to the Mooresville Police Department at a special presentation Thursday.
Mooresville patrol officers will keep the bears in their squad cars, giving kids in the community something soft and comforting during tough situations.
“At TDS, we not only strive to provide the best internet, TV, and phone services, but to be the best community partners we can,” said Jill Kerswell, TDS associate manager of Field Marketing. “Our patrol officers work extremely hard to keep our community safe, and this is our small way of helping spread comfort and compassion for years to come.”
Crime Prevention and Community Outreach Officer Dave Harding was there to receive the donation.
“We’re so grateful to TDS for this donation,” said Harding. “Not only will the bears bring comfort to children during times of distress, they will serve as a symbol of compassion and safety every day—strengthening our bond with the community and reminding us that together, we can create a safer and more caring environment for all.”
One of TDS’ core values is investing in the communities it serves. TDS just announced the completion of its fiber network project in Mooresville, which resulted in more than 12,000 additional homes and businesses receiving access to reliable, high-speed internet. As part of the construction close-out event, TDS made a donation to the Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center.
TDS has been doing business in North Carolina since 2020 and serves customers in 32 states. Residents interested in learning more about TDS’ products or registering for service can visit tdstelecom.com.
