Public invited to learn about TDS services at Fiber Forum

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is inviting Manitowoc residents and business owners to learn more about its project bringing high-speed internet to the community at an upcoming Fiber Forum.

The forum will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Ascend Services, 2818 Meadow Lane. The event allows residents and business owners to ask questions about TDS products and services, learn why fiber service is important, hear about the network construction process, and more.

TDS, operating as TDS Metrocom LLC, is constructing an all-fiber, high-speed internet network with speeds up to 8 Gig, dedicated connections for businesses up to 10 Gig, a sophisticated TV product, and a variety of phone options.

After starting construction last spring, the company powered up service to its first customers in the fall and continues working to turn up service at more homes and businesses.

In addition to the Fiber Forum, residents can visit TDSFiber.com to register for service, monitor the progress of the build, and sign up for notifications about the new service.
