TDS associate celebrates 45 years of working with TDS
TDS Telecommunications, LLC (TDS®) is pleased to recognize TDS Field Services Manager Kevin Scheunemann for his 45 years of work at the company.
“What an extraordinary milestone,” said Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Drew Petersen. “Since few associates have this many years of service, we want to congratulate Kevin and thank him for his 45 years at TDS!”
Scheunemann celebrated 45 years with TDS on Aug. 16. He began his time at TDS in 1978 as a line worker climbing poles and operating on telephone lines. Scheunemann also worked in repair as a residential installer, business systems installer and since 2005 as a Field Services Manager.
Scheunemann says he feels very fortunate to have worked for TDS for his entire career.
“I am blessed to work for a company that mirrors my values so clearly,” Scheunemann said. “Working at TDS was never boring, and I am proud to be able to say I delivered good services and products throughout my career.”
Throughout his 45 years at TDS, Scheunemann impacted the company in many ways through his leadership, dedicated work ethic, and unwavering loyalty. An active and positive member of his community, Scheunemann also served as a volunteer firefighter for 33 years and a member of the Vesper Village Board for 12 years. He has lived in Vesper his entire life.
“Kevin has been such a great leader for us and truly understands what it takes to serve our customers through technological advances,” TDS Director of Field Services Lynette Maynes said. “Kevin has an unwavering commitment to TDS, our network, and our customers. We are lucky to have him as part of our team and consider him a valued leader.”
Currently, Scheunemann is expanding his role as Field Services Manager for Medford and other surrounding communities in addition to the area he now services. Scheunemann will oversee this transition before turning his attention to another phase of life where he plans to spend more time with his wife, children, and grandchildren in Vesper.
