TDS bringing its fiber network to Helena Valley, Montana
TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is announcing its all fiber network is coming to Helena Valley. Construction is expected to start this spring.
TDS plans to connect homes and businesses in Helena Valley. When complete, TDS expects to deliver symmetrical internet speeds up to 8 Gig (8000 Mbps), TDS’ all-digital TV service, TDS TV®+, and a variety of phone options for residential and business customers.

We want to provide residents and businesses the latest tools to upgrade their home and business for the future.”
TDS recently announced it plans to begin construction in 2023 of its 8 Gig fiber network to Helena, Butte, Missoula, and Great Falls, Montana. The Madison, Wisconsin-based company is currently building a fiber network in Billings, Montana. Across Montana, TDS expects to connect more than 150,000 homes and businesses ̶ communities that currently do not have 8 Gig fiber. All these fiber builds are funded through TDS’ private investment.
CEC Facilities Group based in Irving, Texas is partnering with TDS to construct the fiber network in Helena Valley. TDS recently signed a franchise agreement with Lewis and Clark County.
