TDS presents Hometown Hero Award to Peace Place of Great Falls
Donation helps organization offering weekly respite sessions for families of children with special needs.
Great Falls, Montana – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) proudly presented its Hometown Hero Award to the leaders of Peace Place at a special event Tuesday, Oct. 7.
The TDS Hometown Hero Award honors those making a difference in the community, and it especially aims to recognize our unsung heroes. Peace Place offers weekly respite sessions for families of children with special needs. Its programs give parents and caregivers a well-deserved break while Peace Place’s licensed child-care providers help nurture important developmental skills.
In addition to the Hometown Hero Award presentation, the event included a $1,000 donation to Peace Place to help the organization continue its mission.
“The work Peace Place does to help families in our community is nothing short of remarkable. We’re so fortunate to have them in Great Falls and we’re grateful for everyone on staff who works so hard to make a difference,” said Raymond Porter, TDS associate manager of Field Marketing.
