Vice President of Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning
Kris was named Vice President of Financial Analysis and Strategic Planning in July 2023. In this role, she provides strategic support for executive management, including helping define and develop goals and objectives, setting priorities and communicating the strategic plan throughout the organization, and tracking and analyzing changing environments and competitive pressures. She also leads TDS Telecom’s financial planning and analysis functions, including long-range strategic planning, enterprise risk management, forecasting, budgeting, business case analysis, capital allocation, and reporting processes.
Kris joined TDS Telecom’s parent company, Telephone and Data Systems, as a financial analyst in 2009. From there, she transferred to TDS Telecom’s sister company, UScelllar, where she maintained various financial analysis and strategy positions. In 2019, Kris joined TDS Telecom as the Director of Strategic Planning and Financial Analysis, leading the company’s long-range strategic planning. In 2023, she became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Kris holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University. In her free time, she enjoys running and participating in various races, traveling the world, and spending time with her three young boys.
