Businesses in TDS cable markets can now benefit from the new VoIP offering
MADISON, Wis. (March 22, 2017) –– TDS Telecommunications Corp. (TDS®) announces the availability of its Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) business communications tool, managedIP Hosted to cable customers in more than 80 communities in seven states.
Thousands of businesses in incumbent TDS areas nationwide are already leveraging the reliability, mobility and flexibility provided by managedIP technologies. Wade Holmes, director of Engineering and Technology at TDS, said the company worked diligently to make sure all the favorite features and functionality that make managedIP a hit today in other states were included with the product launching today in its cable market areas.
The VoIP service is now available in: Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Utah.
TDS brings together major vendors including Cisco, Polycom and Broadsoft to offer a solution that provides business tools such as: Meet-Me conferencing, Call Center, Receptionist Client (to allow one person to answer calls from multiple locations), and Call Recordings.
