TDS enhances fiber network in Fitchburg; brings 1Gig Internet and TDS TV
MADISON, Wis. (April 21, 2016)—Faster Internet speeds and revolutionary TV service are expanding in parts of Fitchburg.
TDS Telecom (TDS®) is enhancing the network for customers within its service territory in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. The enhancements will provide new, faster Internet speeds of up to 1 gigabit, and TDS TV®, an Internet Protocol (IP)-based TV service. These revolutionary services are expected to begin launching in mid-June.

Fiberville™ will be unveiled in the Fitchburg service territory, as well. When this happens, “Fiberville” status is achieved and each pre-registered household receives free HD for life and free installation.
It is important to note that the TDS TV service territory reaches about 1,100 households in the following neighborhoods: Byrnewood, Oak Meadow, Wildwood, Wildwood South and the Tower Hill Park area. There they can also get updates on when TDS TV and 1Gig will be available, as well as track their neighborhood’s progress toward Fiberville status.
