“Stolen bases” campaign earns JDRF $2,925
Madison Mallards steal 117 bases in 2012, leading to TDS® largest campaign donation
In 2012 the Madison Mallards stole 117 bases. For each stolen base, TDS Telecommunications Corp. (TDS®) donated $25 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International Western Wisconsin Chapter (JDRF). On Tuesday, June 4, before the Mallards took on the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, TDS presented a check for $2,925 to JDRF.
This is the largest donation TDS has made since the campaign started in 2004. Since that time TDS has donated more than $20,000 to JDRF for the Madison Mallard’s stolen bases.
TDS will continue the fundraiser with the Madison Mallards in 2013. Through the first eight games of the season they have 15 stolen bases. Go Mallards!
