Planned fiber cut will impact TDS Telecom phone, 911, and Internet services on March 25 in Loganton, PA

According to discussions with Comcast, the work will take place along Long Run Road in the Mill Hall area of Loganton, Penn. Comcast is expected to perform the work on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, starting after 1 a.m. and wrapping up by 3 a.m.

Customers will experience a short interruption of telephone service — only calls within the local exchange will connect. There will also be limited 911 service and emergency departments are aware of the impending service interruption. TDS Telecom – Sugar Valley Telephone will forward the non-emergency number to the Sugar Valley Fire Department during the fiber cut; should there be an emergency, 911 will not work; residents should call 570-725-3501.

Customers will also be without access to the Internet during this time.

TDS would like to thank customers for their cooperation.
