TDS named a Best of Southern Utah 2021 Gold Winner
With lightning fast speeds of up to 1Gig, TDS is pleased to announce our customers voted us as the Gold Winner in the Best of Southern Utah 2021 contest, in the category of ‘Internet Provider.’
The Best of Southern Utah contest, conducted by Canyon Media, included community voting from residential and business customers in the Southern Utah communities TDS serves.
In March 2020, St. George was one of the first communities TDS launched 1Gig speeds. TDS is “Proud to Offer the Best” to the cities in and around the St. George area TDS serves. This win is particularly exciting, since in the previous year’s contest we were named the Silver Winner.

In addition to launching 1Gig internet speeds in Southern Utah in 2020, TDS recently introduced a new whole-home Wi-Fi service, TDS Wi-Fi+, to complement its faster internet speeds and provide the ultimate home internet experience.
Rolling out 1Gig in our cable communities requires a great deal of coordination and communication throughout several TDS teams, including network operations, network services, field services, marketing, government and regulatory affairs, sales, and product management. What’s most impressive is this work was done during a pandemic.
