TDS associates pitch in to help older adults in Billings
Billings, Montana – Associates from TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) teamed up with Big Sky Senior Services to help older adults in Billings this week as part of a companywide charitable initiative.
More than a dozen local staff volunteered helping with lawn care Wednesday during TDS Spirit Week, which celebrates the company’s core values. TDS associates across the country are increasing their normal philanthropic efforts to put into practice the value of investing in people and communities through give-back efforts, including donations and volunteering.
Big Sky Senior Services provides services that promote independence, enhance quality of life, and prevent elder abuse.
“Helping the communities we serve is a key part of TDS’ mission. We are excited to partner with great organizations like Big Sky Senior Services, which works tirelessly to help older adults in need, and do our part to make Billings a better place,” said Sarah Schroefel, associate manager of Field Marketing in Billings.

Our older adult clients are grateful for the support and care that TDS’ staff is offering today. TDS puts its values in action through its Be Good Citizens program. TDS associates receive 16 hours of paid time off each year to volunteer at nonprofit organizations. In 2023, associates gave more than 1,400 hours to charitable organizations.
