TDS opens storefronts in both Oregon and McFarland, Wis
Walk-in locations offer spaces for trying and ordering TDS Fiber products
TDS Telecom (TDS®) has opened its first retail locations in McFarland and Oregon, Wis. Local residents can try TDS’ TV service, ask questions, and register for service at either storefront.
“Although you can order nearly anything online—including TDS Fiber products—actually walking into a store and talking with people is a totally different experience,” says Julie Maiers, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. “We’re really excited to give residents a chance to walk in, interact with the technology, and really understand what makes TDS and TDS Fiber the gold standard in broadband.”
The McFarland store is located at 4885 Larson Beach Road, and the Oregon store is located at 218 Wolfe Street. Store hours will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The company announced in April that it would be partnering with the villages of both Oregon and McFarland to build fiber-optic broadband networks in those communities. When complete, the networks will deliver up to 1 Gigabit internet service along with TDS TV, the company’s all-digital TV service, and phone service to area residents. Installations are expected to begin in both communities in early 2019.
