TDS opens retail location in Eau Claire, Wisconsin

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®), cut the ribbon on its retail location in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with the help of Eau Claire City Council President Emily Berge, as well as Representative Rob Summerfield, Representative Warren Petryk, Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce President Dave Minor, and other members of the business community. The new storefront is located at 2917 Mall Drive, in Eau Claire.

“The support of the community has been overwhelming and we really appreciate it,” said Associate Manager of Field Marketing Marcus Stabe. “The build has been a big undertaking but we’re happy to be here and we’re excited to offer 8Gig symmetrical speeds even at a residential level.”

The store gives residents the opportunity to speak with a TDS representative in person to ask questions, register and sign up, and explore the company’s TV product, TDS TV®+. The city and state leaders present applauded the company’s expansion into the area.

“With this new era of people working at home, I think this is what we need as infrastructure,” said City Council President Emily Berge. “We try, at the city, to make Eau Claire a place to live, work, and play and for it be fantastic—and great internet is actually a big part of that. We’re really thrilled to have TDS here in Eau Claire.”

The new TDS retail location will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The ribbon cutting comes only months after the Madison-headquartered company connected its first customers to all-fiber network in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. Build work will continue on both networks, bringing up to 8Gig symmetrical speed to residents and up to 10Gig dedicated connections to businesses.

TDS has been doing business in Wisconsin for 54 years and serves customers in 32 states. Residents interested in learning about TDS fiber services can visit TDSFiber.com for more information.
