TDS launches fiber network in Bonduel, Wis.
Up to 1Gig internet speeds now available to more than 300 addresses
TDS Telecom’s (TDS®) fiber network project in Bonduel has launched to the first 300 addresses in the area. The fiber-to-the-home build delivers up to 1Gig (1,000Mbps) internet speeds to homes, up to 10G dedicated commercial connections for businesses, along with TDS’ video product, TDS TV®+, and phone services. Construction will continue in the coming months with services becoming available in phases, eventually connecting more than 630 area addresses to the all-fiber network.
“We’ve been part of Bonduel since TDS was founded in 1969 and we couldn’t be more pleased to bring the latest communications technology to the community,” says Andrew Petersen senior vice president of Corporate Affairs at TDS. “Fiber networks offer a great internet experience because they’re designed to deliver the fastest, and most robust, internet connections available.”
In addition to bringing symmetrical 1Gig internet speeds to Bonduel, where the upload and download speeds are equal, the TDS fiber project brings residents a new TV provider choice. TDS TV+ is a cloud-based TV service that integrates live TV—broadcast channels, regional sports content, and national cable channels—with streaming services like Netflix*.
Area business customers will gain access and transport connections up to 10Gig via dedicated fiber and TDS managedIP, a hosted VoIP communications solution. TDS TV+ is also available to business customers in the fiber footprint.
Residents can visit TDSFiber.com to order service and see if their address is included in the fiber build.
