TDS fiber expansion project in Blanchardville, Wisconsin now complete
Nearly 500 addresses gain up to 8 Gig internet speeds
TDS Telecommunications, LLC (TDS®) has completed construction on its fiber network project in Blanchardville, Wis. Fiber-fast speeds up to 8 Gig are now available to about 500 addresses across the build’s footprint. This upgrade project, funded entirely by TDS, also delivers dedicated 10 Gig connections for commercial businesses in the area.

Work on the fiber network began last year, which included burying conduit and fiber cable in public utility easement areas and hanging cable on utility poles. All addresses included in the expansion now have a range of super-fast internet options up to 8 Gig along with TV and phone service.
All of TDS’ fiber internet speeds are symmetrical, meaning upload and download speeds are the same. Business customers can choose up to 10 Gig speed, which comes with a service level agreement. TDS also offers Wi-Fi+ for residential customers that provides a smarter home Wi-Fi experience, maximizing performance across all devices with reliable and expansive wireless internet coverage.
Beyond fiber internet, all customers can choose the company’s TV product, TDS TV+, as well as phone services. TDS TV+ includes local channels, sports content, and national networks, and integrates with popular streaming services and On Demand and TV Everywhere content.
