TDS donating night in Mallards suite to local non-profits

Reps from twelve charitable organizations enjoying an evening of fun on TDS

Non-profit organizations do a lot of great work in the community, and TDS Telecom (TDS®) is saying thank you in a unique way. The telecommunications company has invited representatives from some of its charitable partners to enjoy an all-expenses-paid evening of fun in the Madison Mallards Duck Pond Suite at the August 14 game.

“We recognize the important role our non-profit partners play in our communities” says Bruce Shead, national manager of field marketing for TDS. “Giving back to the givers, even in this small way, is part of our TDS Cares initiative and one way we’re expressing gratitude for all they do.”

Shead, along with Kathy Cefalu, vice president and chief human resource officer and Sam Abolkhair, associate manager of field marketing, are welcoming guests from:

·      American Heart Association- Madison

·      Second Harvest- Madison

·      Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center- Madison

·      The Road Home Dane County- Madison

·      River Art Inc. Prairie du Sac

·      Links For Lauren

·      NF Network (Neurofibromatosis Network)

·      Personal Essential Pantries of Stoughton

·      Kiwanis Club of Stoughton

·      Stoughton Affordable Transportation Program

·      Housing Advocacy Team of Stoughton

·      The Rooted Family

“We truly say thank you to all the dedicated, hard-working non-profit organizations and their staff for all they do to strengthen and support the people who live in the Madison area,” says Shead.

The group will be taking a photo on the field before the start of the game to recognize this great group of non-profit organizations in the community.

Through TDS’ Mallards sponsorship, the Duck Pond suite is reserved for the company’s use for three games this season. TDS set aside their August 14 reservation to offer game tickets, free food, and drinks in the comfort of the indoor/outside suite area to celebrate their charitable partners.

TDS is headquartered in Madison and has been doing business in the Madison area since 1969.
