TDS Telecom Names New VP-Sales

TDS Telecom (TDS®), a Madison, Wisconsin-based telecommunications company, is announcing Michele Slattery will be its new Vice President of Sales. Slattery is a TDS sales veteran with 24 years of experience at the company, holding numerous roles in marketing, sales strategy and execution, and communications.

“As a proven sales and marketing leader, Michele has been instrumental in delivering results for the company and we’re excited to have her make an impact in this new leadership role,” said Julie Maiers, senior vice president of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Operations.

For the last six years, Slattery was the director of Sales, overseeing sales strategy, consumer and commercial sales, technology implementation and cable company acquisition. Her previous positions at TDS provided her with expertise in the areas of sales operations, commercial marketing, regional marketing, and communications.

“Michele is an effective leader who successfully manages business while also taking the time to develop TDS associates and advancing the company’s core values,” said Maiers.

Slattery is a member of the UW E-Business Consortium at the University of Wisconsin and the Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Edgewood College and her MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Slattery assumed her new role on November 1.
