TDS Telecom associates volunteer for spring cleanup at Root for Kids

St. George, Utah – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) associates came together for a large volunteer effort to give back to a local nonprofit organization, Root for Kids.

On Tuesday, June 4, more than 50 TDS associates did various tasks at the nonprofit as part of the company’s second annual TDS Cares Day. The event celebrates the TDS’ Shared Value of investing in the communities it serves. The effort included painting 4 sheds, painting speed bumps in the parking lot, washing windows, cleaning playground equipment, assembling a playhouse and tricycle, mow the lawn, trimming trees and more!

“TDS associates take pride in supporting their communities, and this effort is another example of how much St. George area associates love to give back,” said Associate Manager Cindy Powell. “While we have a special TDS Cares Day, our associates really care about their customers and communities every day.”
