TDS to host Spokane’s first Volunteer Showcase

SPOKANE, Washington – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is proud to host Spokane’s first Volunteer Showcase, an event dedicated to helping local nonprofits find volunteers to fulfill their respective missions.

The Volunteer Showcase will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center, 404 N. Havana St. The event is co-sponsored by Greater Good Northwest, Greater Spokane Inc., and the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce.

About 50 nonprofits are expected to be on hand and set up at individual booths, where they will have information available about their mission, upcoming events, and ways people can get involved.

“Spokane is a wonderful and caring community. With so many residents passionate about a number of worthy causes, this event aims to help raise awareness of our nonprofits and make connections so that our community continues to thrive,” said Heather Latta, TDS associate manager of Field Marketing in Spokane.
