TDS ramps up Spokane construction, hiring 80+ workers

SPOKANE, Washington – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is looking to hire more than 80 local workers as it ramps up construction of its high-speed, all-fiber internet network in Spokane and Spokane Valley.

The company has posted 85 positions on its careers page, tdstelecom.com/careers, including opportunities for outside plant construction technicians and outside plant fiber splicers. Both entry- and Supervisor-level roles are available. The positions will help with the installation of communication facilities throughout the community and work with the latest communications technology.

Those hired will receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus, as well as in-house CDL training.

TDS’ network features internet speeds up to 8Gig, as well as TV and phone service. The network has launched in several neighborhoods already, with TDS fiber service currently available to more than 10,000 homes and businesses in the area.
