TDS to mark opening of Treasure Valley retail stores

Ribbon-cuttings to be held in Nampa, Meridian as construction continues on all-fiber networks

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) invites members of the public and the media to ribbon cuttings celebrating the opening of TDS retail stores in Nampa and Meridian.

The Nampa store ribbon cutting is set for 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the store located at 180 Caldwell Blvd. Unit 180. The ribbon cutting at the Meridian store, 2845 E. Overland Road, will take place at noon Thursday, Sept. 8.

The events will feature members of the Nampa and Meridian chambers of commerce, respectively, as well as TDS associates. Light refreshments will be served. Members of the media interested in attending should RSVP to Mark Schaaf at mark.schaaf@tdstelecom.com.

Construction is under way on high-speed, all-fiber internet networks in Nampa and Meridian. In addition to speeds up to 2Gig, the network will give Nampa a new choice for TV as well as phone options. The retail store serves as a physical location for residents and business owners to access TDS products and services and speak with company associates.

Customers can stop by a grand opening celebration for the Meridian store from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, and at the Nampa store from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.

Residents can visit TDSFiber.com to register for service, monitor the progress of the build, and sign up for notifications about the new service. Residents can also find open job positions in the Treasure Valley posted on the company’s website
