TDS Telecom matches Salvation Army Red Kettle donations in several communities

TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is matching Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign donations on Monday, Nov. 27, in several of its Northeastern Wisconsin communities.

Donations in Sheboygan, the Fox Cities, and Green Bay will be matched up to a total of $6,000 across all three communities. The match comes at the start of TDS’ Week of Giving, a philanthropic effort that includes themed giving events in TDS communities across the country.

“Helping our communities is a major part of our mission. The Red Kettle campaign is a perfect example of an effort we love to support. By helping fund important Salvation Army programs, the money raised will make a big impact in Northeastern Wisconsin and beyond,” said Dawn Nowakowski, TDS manager of regional field marketing.

In addition to the red kettles scattered across the area, donations can be made online through give.salvationarmyusa.org, which allows users the option to specify a city for their donation.

One of the core values of Wisconsin-based TDS is giving back to the communities it serves through its TDS Cares initiatives. In addition to numerous sponsorships and donations across the country, its “Be Good Citizens” program provides associates with 16 hours of paid time off every year to volunteer. TDS associates are also leading the Salvation Army’s “Kindness Squad” in Fond du Lac.
