TDS honored by Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (March 10, 2023) – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) was proud to be honored with an award at the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner Thursday night.

TDS won the chamber’s “Rookie of the Year” award, given annually to a new business in the Twin Falls area. TDS arrived in the Magic Valley in August 2022 as it began construction on a high-speed, all-fiber internet network.

“After joining the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce last year, we are thrilled to be recognized with this award,” said Jessica Kaschmitter, associate manager of field marketing in Twin Falls. “The Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce is a true champion of the local business community and makes the Magic Valley a better place for businesses of all sizes.”

Work is under way on TDS’ network in Twin Falls, Jerome, Burley, Hansen, Heyburn, and Kimberly. The first homes and businesses are expected to be connected with TDS service later this spring. In addition to lightning-fast speeds up to 8Gig, TDS is bringing new TV options and phone service to the Magic Valley.

Many chamber members were in attendance as TDS formally broke ground on the project in August.
