TDS to hold grand opening of Nampa retail store

Nampa residents are invited to attend TDS’ grand opening of its retail store to learn more about its high-speed, all-fiber internet network and enter to win prizes.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the store located at 180 Caldwell Blvd. in Nampa.

Residents can enjoy refreshments, games, and free giveaways, as well as enter to win a 65-inch smart television. Four $100 Amazon gift cards will also be given away, plus 104.3 WOW Country will be on location giving away Boise Music Festival tickets.

“We wanted a way to meet more of our new neighbors, and we’re also excited to share what a fast and reliable product like TDS Fiber will mean to your home and business,” said Pamela Hayn, associate manager of Field Marketing in Nampa.

TDS is building an all-fiber internet network in Nampa with speeds up to 8Gig. The company connected its first customers in Nampa last year; the network will eventually reach about 50,000 addresses.

TDS has also been active in the community, donating to and sponsoring a number of organizations and recognizing individuals and groups with its Hometown Hero Award.
