TDS Telecom celebrates opening of Fond du Lac retail store

FOND DU LAC, Wisconsin (May 23, 2024) – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) celebrated the opening of its new Fond du Lac retail store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring local officials and Fond du Lac Chamber of Commerce members.

Construction is under way on a high-speed, all-fiber internet network featuring internet speeds up to 8 Gig as well as TV and phone service. The retail store serves as a physical location for residents and business owners to access TDS products and services and speak with company associates.

“We’re pleased to mark another milestone in our efforts to bring Fond du Lac residents and businesses fast, reliable broadband. We look forward to serving more customers in the months ahead and thank the community for their patience and cooperation during construction,” said Jolene Heuchert, associate manager of Field Marketing in Fond du Lac.

Founded in Wisconsin in 1969, TDS Telecom delivers high-speed internet, TV entertainment, and phone services to small and mid-size urban, suburban and rural communities throughout the United States.

Last year, TDS connected the first local customers to service in Fond du Lac and continues working to reach more homes and businesses in the community. Built in phases, residents can connect to the new network once work is completed in their neighborhood.

In addition to fast internet speeds, the network includes a sophisticated TV product called TDS TV®+, a variety of phone options, and special dedicated connections for businesses up to 10 Gig.

TDS is also building fiber networks in Green Bay, Appleton, Manitowoc, and other northeastern Wisconsin communities.
