TDS Telecom receives high marks in Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index
MADISON, Wisconsin – TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) has received high marks on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s (HRCF) 2025 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), earning a score of 90 out of 100. The CEI is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report, measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.
“We are proud to earn a great score on the CEI this year,” said AnnMarie Kreitzer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer. “This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. We understand there is still work to be done, and we’re dedicated to continuing to strive toward a supportive environment for all our associates.”
The results of the 2025 CEI showcase how U.S.-based companies are promoting LGBTQ+ friendly policies in the country and abroad. The CEI rates employers providing these crucial protections to more than 22 million U.S. workers.
According to the HRCF, to earn top ratings, employers must show they have taken concrete steps to establish and implement policies, benefits, and practices that ensure greater equity for LGBTQ+ workers and their families. The 2025 CEI report evaluates non-discrimination policies across business entities, efforts toward supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.
TDS’ non-discrimination policy protects both gender identity and sexual orientation. This past June, TDS’ 2BU Associate Resource Group (ARG) held a pride flag raising event that included a $1,000 donation to OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center in Madison.
“We deeply appreciate the incredible work of our 2BU ARG,” said Kreitzer. “This group fosters a strong sense of community both within and outside of TDS by celebrating differences, ensuring an inclusive and safe environment, and supporting the success of our LGBTQ+ associates.”
TDS is dedicated to social responsibility, with a strong commitment to fostering diversity within our supply chain. TDS is committed to enhancing the use of diverse businesses by proactively developing relationships with minority, women, veteran and disabled veteran, LGBTQ+, disadvantaged businesses and local businesses within our supply chain. Supplier diversity is a strategic business imperative to the economic growth and expansion of our business, and the company also encourages subcontracting opportunities for diverse businesses.
