TDS donates $3,500 to local Spokane community organizations
TDS Telecommunications recently donated $3,500 to three community organizations that are making a difference in Spokane.
A $2,000 donation was made to the Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation Running Start for Careers Initiative, which raises scholarship funds for CCS students earning a college trade degree and a high school diploma at the same time.
A $1,000 donation was given toward the siding project at the Five Mile Grange, where current members provide relevant programs and entertaining events for families who call Five Mile home.
And finally, a $500 donation was provided to ACCOIN (American Childhood Cancer Organization Inland Northwest), whose mission is to help families cope during childhood cancer treatments so no one will have to fight cancer alone.
“TDS is thrilled to donate to these organizations who are helping Spokane be an even better place to live,” said Field Marketing Associate Manager Ed Bedell. “I’m so pleased we can provide funding to assist these worthy groups in Spokane.”
